Another satisfied customer..........

"I had a hot water tank that started leaking in one of my rental properties and called a plumbing company in Calgary. After booking an appointment for that afternoon, the plumber didn’t show up until the next day. He said the hot water tank needed to be replaced and it would cost $1600. Having already done some research, the amount appeared to be $500 to $800 high. When I mentioned that to that plumber, he just said “wow, that is our regular prices.” I called a second company and explicitly stated that I needed a plumber to replace a hot water tank. They said they couldn’t quote me on a tank without seeing the situation. I explained, I already had plumber out and I knew what was needed and knew it shouldn’t cost more than $1200. I also said I didn’t want to waste anyone’s time and I didn’t want a plumber sent out if the quote was going to come in over $1200 and authorized the job to proceed as long as it came in under $1200. In the meantime, Blair, from Superior Plumbing, returned my call from 30 minutes prior and said he could do the job for $700 + GST. This included everything except for possibly replacing a valve that sometimes needs to be replaced. This also happened to be the same price advertised on his website www.superiorplumber.ca. I explained that I already had a plumber scheduled and thanked him for returning my call. Later that evening I received a call from the 2^nd plumber who arrived at the property and he explained the cost would be $2200 to replace the tank. To say I wasn’t impressed is an understatement. I immediately placed a call to Blair and explained my situation. He said he could be out to the property at 9:00am the next day and my tenants would have hot water about 2 hours later. Blair completed the work in the committed timeframe and at the price quoted. I definitely pays to call a few different plumbing companies and it would be definitely worthwhile to call Superior Plumbing. I highly recommend Blair and Superior Plumber for any plumbing work."
